4-Step Checkout
Automatic “Welcome” e-mail
A customizable “Welcome as Guest” e-mail can be automatically sent to the customer upon creation of his/her account. Note: A Guest Account is automatically created upon commencement of the checkout process when the Name and e-mail address are captured.
Isolated Checkout Process
Once the customer leaves his/her Shopping Cart and begins the checkout process, he/she is directed to focus on the checkout process with few or no distractions. Only the site Header and Footer are displayed reducing the temptation to “go shopping” and potentially abandon their cart.
Returning Customer Easy Checkout
Repeat Registered customers enjoy faster checkout with the use of saved information including Billing Address, Shipping Address and Credit Card information to auto-fill those fields making checkout possible in under 30 seconds.
Save Credit Card for Future Use
Registered Customers are offered the option to save their credit card for future use.
Save Default Billing Address
Registered Customers are offered the option to save the Billing Address entered as their default billing address to be used on future orders.
Save Default Shipping Address
Registered Customers are offered the option to save the Shipping Address entered as their default Shipping Address to be used on future orders.
Auto-Fill Shipping Address
Shipping Address is auto-filled with Billing Address information with the option to change it.
Gift Message
The customer is offered the opportunity to write a “Gift Message” to be included with the order. Recipient Name, Sender’s Name and Occasion are also optionally collected.
Gift Receipt
If selected by the customer, Shop Site will print a Gift Receipt instead of an invoice.
Automatic Application of Gift Certificates
If the customer has received Gift Certificates, they are presented during checkout and easily applied to the order by clicking on the checkbox next to each Gift Certificate.
Same Day Delivery Option
Unique to Shop Site, because of its’ powerful shipping engine, customers can be offered the option to have their orders delivered SAME DAY. This offering is configurable by Store, Zip Code, and Product.
In-Store Pickup Option
Because of it’s powerful shipping engine, customers may be offered the option to place their orders on-line and have them ready for in-store pickup. This offering is configurable by Store, Zip Code, and Product.
Multiple Payment Options (CC,Terms, COD)
By default, new customers must submit payment at the time or order. In cases of bulk orders, repeat customers, commercial customers or other reasons to offer credit terms, Shop Site allows customer to complete their orders using methods including Net Terms or COD.
Terms & Conditions Confirmation upon Checkout
To maintain compliance with most Payment Processors, required acceptance of Terms & Conditions can be imposed upon the final checkout process. Terms & Conditions are customizable as applicable to each Payment Processor, Web Store and individual contracts.
Automatic Coupons
Coupons may be applied to specific products by the store owner and applied automatically (instead of requiring the customer to enter the coupon code).
Restrict Shipping by State
Shop Site offers the unique ability to restrict shipping by State (within the US) preventing orders being placed in areas not permitted (i.e. NYS Liquor Law)
Customizable Shipping Methods and Costs
Shop Site’s powerful shipping engine (Based on the Amazon Model ) allows each web site owner to set shipping rates using Base Price, Per Ounce Charge. Shipping Overrides allows store owners to set a fixed shipping cost per Product for each shipping zone. Shipping Overrides also allow restriction of individual Products to individual zones.
Order Confirmation Pop-ups
Store Owners can design and apply pop-up to be displayed upon completion of orders.
Easy pre-selected option to upgrade to a Registered Account
Customers with Guest Accounts are innocuously prompted to upgrade their accounts to Registered Accounts on the “Review & Submit Order” screen. When the customer chooses to upgrade his/her account, a Welcome (as Registered Account) e-mail message is automatically sent.

A detailed Order Confirmation page including a customizable message is displayed upon completion of the order.
